Hot sultry summer days and traveling, can be excruciating at times. Exploring new places piques your curiosity, especially when you are a globetrotter and a traveler by heart. I feel adrenaline rushing through my veins, whenever the thought of traveling strikes me. College days were the time when this traveling aficionado trait in me reached its peak. Along with traveling comes the serendipitous feeling of escape and freedom. With the college getting over, and a lifetime of memories to cherish, I along with my friends, Charlie, Sofia, Elena, Jenna, and Stefan decided to visit Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona. The Grand Canyon National Park is one of the sites of attraction in United States and is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. 

Our preparations for the trip started a month before, be it packing our traveling suit of clothes and traveling boots to keeping the eatables, energy drinks, clothes, DSLR, etc. We made a list of all the necessary items required for our tour. We decided to go by Charlie’s car which was pretty spacious. When you are visiting the place for the first time, you might have collywobbles in your stomach whether you reach the accurate place or not. But our excitement for the trip dodged any such forebodings. Soon, the day arrived of our most awaited trip. Our trip started with great vim and vigor, with us dancing on the rock beats of Beatles and Pink Floyd and our car swaying through the breeze. Charlie escorted us in his car as he was the best driver in our group and had experience of many road trips. We came across meadows and grasslands with cattle grazing through them. But suddenly we encountered a rough patch on road where construction was going on and the most used route was blocked. We had to choose the other path about which we didn’t even had the slightest idea. Now we were in such a dilemma with no solution as none of us knew the further route. Moreover, it was getting dark and we were losing track of time also. Everyone was utterly worried, until Elena came to our ultimate rescue.
